Intimate Wedding at The Old Marylebone Town Hall

The Old Marylebone Town Hall provides the perfect venue for couples looking for a more intimate celebration. This was the case for my lovely couple Hannah & Rory, who invited 14 of their nearest and dearest to witness them tie the knot in August 2024.

I waited outside the town hall to capture their arrival and we spent a few moments capturing a few portraits before they were taken to be interviewed. I headed to the Soho Room where their families were greeting each other and adding final touches to their outfits.

The ceremony was lovely. The couple had two readings by Rory’s siblings and exchanged rings and vows before their guests. Civil ceremonies usually tend to last 30-minutes so before we knew it, it was time to head downstairs to grab some portraits inside the town hall before capturing that iconic confetti shot on the steps outside.

Group shots were up next – the key is to keep them quick and simple and they’ll be over before you know it. We then said goodbye to their guests to wander around the streets of Marylebone to document the couple photos.

I had a little route mapped out of cool spots to stop and take portraits at, which lead us to the Landmark Hotel where Hannah & Rory were hosting a little toast in the Champagne Bar before heading off out to eat. I stayed to capture guests mingling, the cutting of the cake and a few more group shots inside this iconic venue.
