WEDDING DETAILS

When Hannah & Ed’s enquiry came through, I thought “I’ve found my people.” This became even clearer to me once we’d scheduled in a call and chatted about our mutual love of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and their wedding plans.

When I asked them about their plans, the couple replied with: “All about family! Keeping things intimate and full of love on the day. We’re having a slightly inverse day with 50 people at the ceremony and only 30 at the reception. We love the idea of our families having the chance to really get to know each other.”

I started the day in the Penthouse with Hannah and her closest people documenting them getting ready. The vibes were immaculate. Everyone was calm, relaxed and enjoying their time together. It’s so important to create the right environment for yourself when getting ready to marry your partner. Hannah did just that. There were snacks, good tunes and a positive energy in the air.

Once Hannah was dressed and ready, I took a few portraits, then headed downstairs to the UN Ballroom where the ceremony was being hosted. Hannah has her own business and designed all the wedding signage and stationery which was incredible. Be sure to keep an eye out for some special pieces she’d designed. I grabbed a few detail shots before guests started to enter and then it was time for Ed to make his appearance before Hannah and her bridal party.

Hannah walked in to music from Sally Potterton. The ceremony was heart-felt, emotional and the room was filled with so much love for this wonderful couple. Hannah & Ed exited the ceremony and mingled with their guests before getting everyone outside for some group photos. Everyone then headed back up to the Penthouse for music by Laura Williams, canapés, chatting and speeches.

At around 6pm, 30 of us got ourselves ready to walk over Tower Bridge to their evening reception at Legare where a delicious Italian meal was waiting for them. I stayed to capture more speeches until I was ready to say goodbye to one of my favourite couples ever.

Take a look at their London wedding at the Four Seasons in more detail below. Strap yourself in, she’s a biggie.
