A guide to the extra goodies I offer (and why you need them!)
Here at Bethany Lavin Weddings, I’m a big advocate of couples doing their weddings their way. With this in mind, couples can choose whether they’d like to book me for full day coverage or micro-wedding coverage. As well as this, they can also pick some extra goodies. In this post, I’m going to be detailing what extra’s I offer and why I think you need them!
Prints
First anniversary gift is paper and what better way to celebrate than to gift some gorge prints of your wedding day? In all my galleries, I offer beautiful prints that have been printed on fine art cotton paper. They are so tactile and you can really feel and see the quality compared to your standard gloss prints. I give my couples the high and low res files so they can print their own but my print lab is a cut above the rest when it comes to colour and quality. Your wedding photos should not stay hidden on a hard drive or computer. They deserve to be displayed proudly in your home for you to enjoy all year round.

USB
Now I know that I said photos shouldn’t be hidden on a hard drive BUT you should back up your images to an external hard drive or USB when they get delivered, just in case. We all know what technology can be like from time to time and the last thing you want is to lose your wedding photos forever because you didn’t have a back-up copy. I always recommend backing up to the cloud but sometimes you just can’t beat having a hard copy that you can put in your pocket should an emergency arise. My USB’s have a glass end so they’re super stylish and they arrive in a plush luxury box with my logo on so it differs from all your other USB’s in the drawer.

Pre-Wedding Shoot
For all those couples out there that want a bit of camera practice before the big day, a pre-wedding shoot is the perfect way to do this. We can meet in an area of your choice to capture some lovely portraits of you and your partner. This is great if you’re nervous about the photography on the day, you’re trying to decide what photographer to work with or you’d like some pictures to announce your engagement (if you’ve kept it a secret). I try and keep these to an hour and a half max, so you’re not too overwhelmed – there’s always lots of walking and talking involved too so it’s super relaxed. If you need more convincing, I have a whole blog post on 3 reasons why you should book a couple shoot. You can find it here.

Second Shooter
I love having a second photographer join me and my couples on their day. They are great for SO many reasons, which I’ve listed here in this blog post. In a nutshell, second shooters help to capture a second perspective from the day (both preps can be photographed, both parties can be captured as one person walks down the aisle etc). They’re also great for weddings that have a lot packed into the order of the day or have over 100 guests to make sure everything’s captured.

Fine Art Wedding Albums
Having an album of your favourite printed photographs from the day is so uniquely special. These are the images you treasure forever. I offer a 10” x 10” personalised leather fine art book printed on cotton paper. I can also do smaller parent albums and you don’t have to have a pink leather cover. The company I use also offers a linen cover and you can have whatever text you like on the front. If you’d like to have a precious, handmade album of one of your happiest days, let’s have a chat and create the perfect album for you.

Extra Hours
You can add extra hours to your full day coverage or my micro-weddings services. If you’re having the best time and want more of your day being documented, I’m more than happy to stay. When we’re figuring out the timeline of your day, we’ll chat through when I’ll start and leave. If on the day I get ready to say goodbye and you’d like me to stay longer, just say the word and I will. All info regarding my pricing and packages can be found here.

And there we have it. A little guide to the extra goodies I offer and why you might want them. Thanks for reading until this point, I hope this has been insightful to know.
