Lou & Tim’s wedding at Hackney Town Hall

Lou & Tim had a wonderfully relaxed wedding at Hackney Town Hall followed by an intimate meal at The Royal Inn on the Park. It was an overcast day (which is perfect for photos) in July where they invited their immediate families (9 guests) to witness the I do’s.

Their main focus for the day was to get some lovely formal photos with their parents, lots of candids of their children, and for me to capture key memories of the day in my documentary style. They were drawn to my style because of the relaxed, candid images which I love to shoot.

We started their day at the town hall with the ceremony, followed by group shots on the iconic steps. After that, we hailed down a 277 bus and shuffled on for a couple of stops to reach the Royal Inn on the Park.

Their gorgeous cake and champagne were waiting for them and the snacks and nibbles were soon brought out. I stayed with them a few moments longer to capture a few more couple portraits before we were photobombed by the kids and then I said my goodbyes.
