Rosie & Mark’s Intimate Micro-Wedding at Islington Town Hall

Rosie & Mark’s micro wedding took place at Islington Town Hall back in the height of summer – July 2023. It was a warm day, the sun was shining and I was super happy because they were bringing their beautiful Cockapoo, Ruby to take part in their day!

The couple had travelled together in style after a short commute from their East London home to meet their 15 VIPs and headed straight for the ceremony room. They chose the Council Chamber for their ceremony location, which features the iconic red carpet, lovely dried flowers and lots of natural light. (Which is key for great photos).

Their ceremony was lovely and relaxed, filled with smiles, happy tears and Ruby the dog (of course).

Once their ceremony had ended, we ventured outside the town hall for confetti, group shots and some of my favourite ever couple portraits. We also explored the area around the town hall on their way to their relaxed family meal.

Ruby & the nieces and nephews definitely stole the show, providing lots of fun, candid photos which was really important to the couple.

We spent an hour and a half together and that was the perfect amount of time to capture their arrival, ceremony, candids, confetti, group shots and couple photos.
